WHAT WENT WRONG - Podcast Rankings and reviews

So happy to have recently come across this podcast. Every episode is so carefully researched and an excellent slice of film history, contextualizing each film within what came before and how it will influence later productions. The more I listen, the more I want to hear! Episodes I’d love to see in the future include Prince of Egypt, Singin’ in the Rain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Rear Window, Air Force One, and Hunger Games.

I love this show so much. I’ve been a huge fan of movies and their behind-the-scenes stories my whole life, and this podcast scratches so many itches for me. It’s fast-paced, it’s informative, and most importantly, it’s fun. The co-hosts have terrific chemistry, and do an excellent job of balancing serious commentary with silly humor. They know their stuff, but they’re not afraid to make fun of themselves, which makes for a very entertaining mix. Always a good time, even when they’re covering the most train-wreck-y dumpster fires of Hollywood. (Extra kudos to David for his great sound design.)

I am so happy to have found this podcast. Chris and Lizzie are not only always so well prepared but also hysterical. I am a movie geek thanks to growing up with a dad that worked in the industry for 40 years so I don’t think I had a choice. Love the perspectives that they share and the banter is fantastic. Can you please do my favorite movie ever, Empire Strikes Back and pretend the prequels and sequels five exist? 🤣 can’t wait to hear what’s next.

Listened to Lizzie and Chris on the Big Flop and did not hesitate to hop on over to this podcast. This podcast is it for movie fans. Lizzie and Chris bring such complimentary levels of expertise and are just fun to listen to. The research they put into their episodes is impressive- they go way beyond the well known facts and actually make you feel like you were there through each step of production. Bravo 👏
