It’s as fun and indulgent as something trashy used for escapism, but it’s ALSO brilliantly investigated, reported, and analyzed. Natalia weaves the intriguing tale of the Chippendales saga with a formidable historical prowess that is effortless, accessible, appealing and hip. It’s like indulging in gossip and getting smarter at the same time- a rare and delightful thing.

Love this story! My mom used to go to Chippendales in the 80s, so I was always intrigued. She was a pretty ‘normal’ mom, but she and her friends would have these wild nights out every now and then, now I know why! I never imagined there was such a backstory to the whole operation! I like the host too, she is very engaging as she tells the story, and really brings you on a journey the 80’s. and her interviews with some of the key figures are great! Alternately funny, touching. Ultimately it’s sad tale of what money does to people. I did get a little confused with all the people and details sometimes, but still a great listen!
