I grew up listening to this podcast because my brother and I would sit in his room and play Legos and listen to this. So when he moved out I kept listening to it and now it’s the only podcast I listen to. I’ve listened to every episode and the recap show, Good Morning Night Vale. Each episode feels like it’s own story, and I want to thank Joseph and Jeffery for making this because it helps me bring out my spooky, eerie side whenever I’m doing work, cleaning or even just sitting in my bed. I’ve tried to get my other friends into it but I think it might be a bit to weird for them but I totally recommend this show to anyone who loves creepy and strange “twilight like” stories!

This podcast changed my life.I had never actually listened to a podcast before(tbh I’m a latter gen z) when I heard about this on Pinterest.I decided to take a listen to the first episode in December and,well...I fell in love instantly 😊😂! I couldn’t believe how odd and eldritch it was,it was just the thing I was looking for.I could picture myself listening to the radio dispachs in Night Vale, NOT wandering into the dog park, seeing Carlos’s perfect hair,Greeting some DEFINITELY Not real Angels( Spoilers! Angels are legal now) . Que the representation, que the weirdness, que the lights above the Arby’s and WELCOME.......
TO NIGHT VALE!

I just finished listening to the first episode of Welcome to Night Vale, and I'm hooked! The surreal storytelling and deadpan humor is unlike anything l've heard before.

I’ve started binging this from the beginning and have truly loved every episode I’ve heard so far! I think it’s so clever and love catching the callbacks to prior episodes.

But only about half of the twenty minutes are the show. Also, they randomly make you listen to OTHER podcasts that they make so you’ll go subscribe to them. They spend very little time on actual storytelling, most of it is ads for other shows or musical interludes. Not worth babysitting your phone for fifteen minutes of content out of every thirty of listening.

I wish a 1/4 of this podcast wasn’t them asking for money and doing ads. I’m so tired of shorter episodes, episodes about the creators lives, and skipped upload dates when they already only do it 2x a month. I miss when they weren’t constantly begging for more and more money. Like promote stuff on social media and your website and at the end. Not throughout a fantasy story.
Also really tired of the time the “weather” takes up. I’d rather have more plot. Not to mention them adding ads after the weather in the middle of the show now. We used to have more plot time.
