Weird in the Wade - Podcast Rankings and reviews

This podcast is interesting in that it addresses actual history more than folklore, but still feels very much like its focus is folklore. The narrator writes engaging dramatizations to bring the actual events to life and explores the lore that results from the tellings and interpretations of real events. The result is a delightful podcast that intersects history of a specific area with folklore.

I’m from the US and the American podcasts in the weird/mysterious/historical/paranormal have all covered the same old stories over time. So I am glad I found this show and can learn some local lore from my friends across the pond! I also love the story/theatrics introducing the episodes, and the interviews are interesting. I hope you have a long, exciting podcast career! I’d love to get some similar podcast recommendations. Looking forward to listening to more of there stories <3

Def give this pod a listen! It’s hits the ghost story with history spot! Always love when I get to listen, as Nat brings such a soothing vibrations to exploring all things mystical and fathomable . Love her short reenactments and the history she shares as well as the perspective she brings to the stories!
