Do you love well made, brilliantly written, nicely acted podcasts? Then you've come to the right place! This podcast ticks all the boxes for me, especially since I've always loved a good slow burn story that doesn't just give you all the details up front, and I'm anxiously awaiting their next season!

Well acted, brilliantly scripted, and mind bendingly (not a word until now but I claim it) plotted. I’m on my third listen and continue to find little hints and connections I’ve missed before. Season three can’t get here fast enough!

I love the lore of this fictional town and being introduced to it through so many different perspectives and tales. I listened a lot while hiking or walking through the woods - would definitely recommend finding a similarly serene and potentially eerie listening space for full spooky effect. Looking forward to season 3!

Lately I’ve had to spend a lot of time in the car, so I’ve taken up horror fiction podcasts. I found a big list of them, wrote them all down, folded them up, put them in a bag, shook it up, and, well, here we are - the first one I pulled was Weeping Cedars. That’s both a blessing and a curse. The writing is phenomenal; I can’t even imagine the amount of work that must have gone into creating literal decades of history for multiple locations. The story can be a bit confusing, as there are lots of names and places to keep track of, but I like horror with a side of puzzle to solve. Of course the voice acting is also great!! Unfortunately every other podcast I listen to has Weeping Cedars to live up to now!! I want to know more about this town and its tragically bizarre history and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this project.
