So heartfelt. Thought provoking like many podcasts, but much more emotionally engaging in a way that feels really impactful.
I hope this podcast spreads and reaches more and more people.
I appreciate that encouragement to participate in the Great Turning, without downplaying the Great Unraveling.
I want to increasingly surround myself with people who have allowed themselves to fully recognize, understand and face the realities of the Polycrisis, while still dedicating their lives to the Great Turning and the sentiment of the book All We Can Save.
So thankful for Joanna’s message, and grateful for Jess for creating this great podcast.

This podcast will be useful for anyone who cares for our planet, who feels distress at the scale and magnitude of what we are facing, and who wants to figure out how to get to the other side so they can do something about it.

I’ve been working on climate issues for years and We are the Great Turning offers something I didn’t even realize I needed. At a time when so many false solutions to the climate crisis create noise and distraction that dig us deeper into delaying climate action, it seems extra important not to spin our wheels and lose ourselves in being busy without being clear and intentional.

I think Jess and Joanna are offering us a VERY important process through which to engage more deeply and work through some of the personal and collective impasses we may not even know we’re stuck in.

Guess what, listening to this is not going to feel linear and immediately result in you figuring things out once you’re through with it. But if you sit with what they are saying with some openness and curiosity, I think you will get a lot out of this.

I’m still ruminating on how to revisit what they are saying and what it could look like to work through some of this collectively with others. Many thanks to Jess and Joanna for doing something brave and different.
