In spite of what Harvey may have commented previously, women still are not equal today. Throw a dart and you can hit a topic to talk about- the ever persistent gender pay gap, pink taxes, high percentage of misdiagnosis in medical settings (maternal mortality etc.), high rate of death via intimate partner violence, underrepresentation in powerful fields like STEM and government just to name a few off of the top of my head… This is an excellent quality pod, wonderful choice in material, and hosted by two phenomenally strong women who are longtime podcasters and have mastered this craft! Women DO still need this space carved out- so thank you for doing so and for celebrating their big wins and important history. Truly so excited for the potential that it has!

I’m loving Watch Her Cook—it’s such a powerful and moving podcast that shares the stories of brave women from history who deserve the spotlight. The storytelling is well done, just like in the host’s first podcast, National Park After Dark, which I also loved. Thank you for creating something uplifting and empowering, especially in the dark times of 2025. This podcast is a bright spot!

Being a huge, long time fan of NPAD brought me here. I love the stories and messages but the format in which they’re told could be improved. I think the storytelling format used on NPAD, where one host tells the story to the other, would be very beneficial on this pod. The current format where both hosts basically swap speaking turns to tell one story leads to both hosts having the same exact input at major developments in the story. One host will make a comment or share an insight and the other will just echo it, maybe changing a few words. It gets a little repetitive as the episode goes on. Just my two cents. You’re killing it either way, so keep cooking!
