Nicely and thoughtfully produced! Very impressive level of detail that gives you insight into the minds of the subjects covered while providing welcome general context. I listened to the episodes on Philip of Macedon while visiting Pella and Vergina in Greece. It enhanced the already amazing experience considerably. Thank you for the great content!

Mark does an amazing job not only describing the exploits of the warlords but also giving a back story of the time and culture that would have influenced the events surrounding the protagonist. You can tell he puts in a lot of prep work and research for each episode. His delivery is consistent and almost calming, which allows an easy listen then a need to listen to another episode. A must subscribe if you appreciate ancient civilizations and warfare
