I appreciate this podcast so much. I also grew up in the evangelical church world. And have been “deconstructing” and this podcast has helped me to see other interpretations and patterns of thinking that is different then what I grew up with. As a woman I’m working through all the shaming messages I received in the purity culture and how to move forward. My husband is a pastor and your podcast has sparked so much conversation for the two of us. So thank you, thank you, thank you!!! :)

I have been listening since the very first episode. Mike, Seth, Tim and their guests have radically reshaped my theology. This podcast has reignited a passion for Christ and what his kingdom on earth should look like. Keep up the good work!

How is this podcast not more popular?? I’ve listened to about 10 episodes now and when I finish each episode, I’m thinking wow, Jesus is beautiful. It gives me fresh vision for how I want to show up in this world as a follower of Jesus. I appreciate Mike’s loving, straightforward, non-uptight, honest discussion of tough topics and enjoy the humor and energy of the show.

I’ve had the privilege of being part of two churches where Mike was the lead teaching pastor, and I’ve always appreciated his ability to not only teach from the Bible but also provide historical context that makes the message even more relevant today.

This podcast has been a true blessing, especially in today’s church and political climate. Mike and I’m reinforce the power of faith over religiousness, bringing clarity of the Bible and wisdom to every episode. I’m incredibly grateful for this show—thank you!
