Refreshing to hear Biblical word for word preaching that isn't twisted in an effort to find out what I can get from God or why I don't have what I think I deserve and how I can get it. His messages are clear, Christ centered, where Christ is the subject, I am still a sinner saved by Grace and becoming Christ-like is the goal. Voddie doesn’t not beat around the bush, he does not tickle your ears. Voddie is not interested in saying what the congregation wants to hear in order to keep people coming back, his command is preaching the word so that the body of Christ is changed and edified, the lost are made aware that they are headed for Hell and that Jesus Christ, repentance from sin and salvation is proclaimed. Glad to see that as despite today’s Heretics arise and are beginning to separate themselves from the true brethren, ie. Olsten, Hagee, Meyers, Jakes etc and with the explosion of the itching ears i.e. word of faith and charismatic movements, God always has his remnant of those who want to know what He says and still believe we are simply saved sinners who should not leave the feet of a Holy God who is sovereign. Preach on brother Voddie preach!!

He does a wonderful job of clearly expositing Scripture with good application points.
The sound quality on some of the episodes can be better.

I first heard Voddie speak at Glorieta in New Mexico and firmly believe the Lord is using him to deliver His message through His Word. Prepare to be convicted, but also for his words to resonate in your heart.

Almost everyday we use these podcast and some from Semper Reformanda to have a small "church time" at home with our kids. Our little ones learn to sit and listen to Biblical Instruction and it has been so benificial for Sunday Mornings. To Paul, Voddie, and Grace thanks for teaching about Family Worship to those who live hundreds of miles away!!!!
