Victoriocity is the podcast I've been recommending to literally anyone I can think of. I was looking for a good comedic podcast and got more than I bargained for here; witty, natural writing, smooth and talented voice acting (in EVERY CHARACTER!), clever plots that have twists but no shark-jumping, a unique world without being A: absurd (in the bad way) B: self-important, and best of all, it's just plain fresh. No railroaded love story, agenda, message or trope of any kind; just a pure story with hilarious dry humor. I can listen to it no matter who's around, as well, because overall it's almost perfectly clean which shocked me in the best way. Bravo! Bravo!! I can't say enough good things and can think of absolutely zero negative critiques. If you like Terry Prachett, Brandon Sanderson, Robert Asprin, or any other number in those types of ranks, THIS IS YOUR PODCAST!

Writing is too-notch and the voice acting and production value are exceptional. I laugh out loud every episode. Can’t wait for the next series! Oh, and there are no annoying ads to skip through. Perfect!

I was so happy to find this show. I was searching for a new serial story podcast that was interesting and funny but didn’t take too much of my own brain and wasn’t disturbing. Bingo bango this show is perfect. Plus it’s set in a sci-fi/historical fiction version of Victorian England which I have a soft spot for. Plus the dialogue has elements of witty fast-talking detective movies from the forties and fifties without the cringeworthy sexism and racism. Perfect!
I do hope you all will continue to make more. It’s great!

I just discovered this show and breezed through it all pretty quickly. Totally hooked me from the first episode. Absolutely brilliant writing by the Sugdens, Tom Crowley and Layla Katib are pitch perfect as Fleet and Entwistle, Pater Rae’s narration hits precisely the right tone, the whole cast just crushes it. This show has gotten more sudden and very loud outbursts of laughter out of me in extremely public spaces than I was prepared for. Do yourselves a favor and give this show a listen.
