This is a great knitting podcast. Very Pink Knits tutorial videos are great and this podcast is a nice chatty addition. I appreciate the high quality production as well as the pleasant voices and music. I only wish they were longer.

I really enjoy the podcast for the most part. Both ladies are really knowledgeable about knitting. It’s unique in the format of answering knitting questions, which I love. My only complaint, and the reason for only three stars, is there’s a lot of non-knitting talk some episodes. With a podcast this short, spending 10-12 minutes talking about TV shows, weather, dogs or children means only one or two knitting questions get answered. Then it loses its appeal for me. I’ve learned so much from Staci’s channel and this podcast, just wish there was more knitting talk!

I like this podcast, though some aspects are a little frustrating. As of this review they call it “ad-free,” but always mention their sponsor yarn dyer, which is a little odd, no? They keep the episodes short because they like short podcasts, but much of the content is unrelated chatter—which, if you have a burning knitting question you are hoping they will answer, I imagine is pretty agonizing. Definitely not the place to submit questions you actually need answered!

I didn’t know knitting podcasts were a thing until I found this one. After checking out several, VeryPink is now in my library. I’m working through the previous episodes and look forward to the new one each week. So glad they came back after their hiatus!

Update: I tried listening again after a break and they’re still mostly chatting about random things, very little actual knitting questions or content. Lots of discussion of their Patreon group 🙄.
The “ad-free” show starts with 5+ minutes of an ad for the sock yarn that sponsors them. And then another 5 minutes of non-knitting chatter, and then maybe 1-3 questions and then they exclaim in surprise, EVERY TIME, “oh my goodness, we have an episode here, time just flew by!” as though they’ve accidentally run out of time to do the thing that’s in the show title. Definitely worth skipping the first 10min.

Every episode since Casey left and Polly joined is so needlessly verbose, a 22 minute episode will regularly have over half the time of the hosts just doing a catch up chat. Then it’s “join us on Patreon for exclusive and longer episodes”….no thanks….ive learned to fast forward through about half of every week just to get to actual knitting content.
