Love the podcast and much prefer it to the official F1 podcast, but Jolie Sharpe is just out of place and grating. The other presenters have a lot of experience, and while it’s not Sharpe’s fault that she doesn’t have the same experience, she puts so much effort into trying to match their level of credibility it comes off as very cringe. It is okay not to know everything. Just don’t act like you’ve been there if you haven’t. Forcing an inexperience “content creator” next to veterans has its perils. I also wince a bit at her voice. It’s like listening to the most privileged scold at Hogwarts talk down to muggles.

The content is good, the host team is solid. It feels very over produced and the sound effects and story transition music is too over the top and gimmicky. We listen to podcasts for quality content and insights, not for slick overly dramatic production.

I’m here for F1 driver insights from DC but all the presenters are top rate and interesting to listen to. Very excited to listen twice a week. The first podcast I open on Mondays and Thursdays. Congrats on a quality program.

Excited to add this to my line up of F1 Podcasts. Seems to have it all— trusted names, good banter, full scope of F1 topics. Preview of interview with Max was a solid flex. Really just got to lose the snaps. Appreciate trying to add in a unique element but this wasn’t it. Felt forced and a bit awkward. Looking forward to a great season!
