Just learned of this pod yesterday. Listened to the Bahrain preview this morning and heard enough to put “Unlapped” into my permanent rotation. Knew of Katie George’s work from her football sideline duty, but had no idea of her role in F1. She is as terrific in her host role as she is on the sidelines. And it never hurts to have people with British accents adding to the analysis. Lot of F1 podcasts out there but “Unlapped” and the BBC’s “Checkered Flag” are the only two that I really like. Well done to all involved and keep up the good work.

Good F1 discussion, enjoy the podcast itself. Would have rated 4-5 stars but pre-recorded ad reads are significantly louder than the podcast. If wearing headphones/airpods volume will suddenly spike without warning for ads.

Love the content and the flow of the show. As others have said the audio needs help, commercials are WAY too loud and even Katie’s mic seems louder than Nate and Lawrence’s.
My main gripe though is the inconsistency of when episodes come out when the races come to the states. Especially for LV. I woke up this morning with the episode name revealing who qualified for pole. Please don’t do this! I’m only looking for a podcast during the week when I’m driving to and from work. I don’t listen to episodes during the weekend.

Love the F1 insight from Laurence, Nate, and team! However, I echo other reviewers’ votes for adjusting the audio. The volume differential between the commentators vs. commercials is painfully too loud and the sudden cut to commercials magnifies the problem.

All things said and done, it’s a wildly mediocre show, mainly due to the Nate dude being so unimaginably insufferable. Katie is solid and so is the other gentleman, but Nate talks way too much. If he was articulate, knowledgable, and didn’t talk in incessant circles, it may be somewhat palatable. Unfortunately that is not the case. I’d stay away and find another F1 show.

The ads were bad but have only gotten worse. Absolutely no cut into or out of ads, they just appear mid sentence. I used to enjoy this pod but it’s become untenable.
