This is a worthy listen, for all who can empathize with nature and those who love communing with it. So many great people telling their parts. Even Eric’s own voice, and the sounds of nature.

Dave adds such a personal touch to his podcasts. The precise details bring Eric and Marilyn’s journey to life. I love the final episode, with the care each person shows to one another.

Just finished listening to this season and wow. It was so well done and respectful to all involved. I love podcasts like this that don’t try to hype, just tell a story. Thank you Dave.

The storytelling and production quality were good, and the outdoor topics were interesting. However, I found myself frustrated by the constant and overt environmentalism and underlying feminist themes. I’m an avid backpacker and absolutely love nature, but the extended rant about “leave no trace” felt more like a lecture than part of the story. It distracted from what could have been a great, balanced exploration of the mysteries of the outdoors.
