What I really like about this podcast is the focus on and empathy for the victims that Ms. Rae brings. So many true crime podcasts tell the stories as if they are entertainment and that is never the case here. Each story is told with the victims’ dignity in mind. While the episodes are interesting, you never forget they involve real people whose stories are being shared to bring awareness to their plights and maybe teach people about serious risks in our society.

A lot of the true crime podcasts I listen to have super long intros or unnecessary, off-topic convos but not this one! Kendall gets straight to the point & provides all the facts. I binge listen everyday while I work. 10/10

I was looking for a new crime podcast, listened to most already, and this one was recommended.
How lucky for me!! The host adds to the popular cases in a positive way without talking nonsense. She presents them and adds new facts maybe not known.
Very enjoyable, easy to listen to, pleasant voice and works well with her co-host (and the furry pets 😁)

This would be a 5-star podcast based on content. However there is an absolutely insane amount of ads - which, OK, make that money, I get it - and by itself I might even be able to get past this like I do on other podcasts. BUT the dealbreaker for me is that the ads are SO LOUD compared to the poor sound quality when Kendall is speaking! It is incredibly jarring and has become unbearable for me. I really want to keep listening but my poor ears can't take it anymore. Kendall - please fix the sound quality and I will come back!!!

I love the content but there’s WAY too many ads for such a short show. There’s an ad every four minutes. I can’t focus on the content if it’s interrupted every four minutes. Do better.

I haven’t listened for a few months and was surprised to listen to the Tupac episodes and there are ads LITERALLY EVERY 4 MINUTES, in a 28 minute podcast. Wow. Yes, you can skip through, but the point of a podcast is to be able to listen passively to a narrative, and while ads are expected, if I’m having to actively pick up my phone and press the fast forward button every 4 min, my passive listening experience is ruined.
Also - there’s way too much irrelevant content. In this particular episode I think you forgot to mention that a medallion had actually been stolen, but it becomes integral later. The historic news clips are way too long and I was so confused why a full minute of a Mike Tyson fight was included when it didn’t include Tupac’s song for Tyson, and when there’s only 4 minutes in between ads, it really took away from the story. I recommend Dateline for anyone who likes to listen to podcasts with minimal ad interruption.
