Been listening to the BaldMove guys for years and they never fail me. Always give great honest reviews of the tv/movie they watch. Will praise the highlights, but not afraid to critique flaws. Exactly what I look for from these podcast. Keep up the great work guys!!!

I used to listen to these guys back during the GoT era. They’re just as good now as they were then. They clearly like the show but are also critical of it at the same time. Which is good. Who wants a podcast that heaps praises on it just because it’s Star Wars (or vice-versa)? I want good Star Wars commentary and that involves criticism for stuff the show didn’t get right.

Jim & Aron are huge (OT) Star Wars fans, but they won’t just bend the knee to anything Star Wars. They are 2 very thoughtful consumers of media in general (and Star Wars in particular). If you want to enhance your experience of The Mandalorian, give this cast a listen.

Jim and A. Ron are the best I’ve ever encountered at breaking down incredibly dense material with rich history like GOT and Foundation. A. Ron’s depth of knowledge as a published GOT author is incredible and unmissable and this duo’s coverage of Foundation is essential if you want a rich understanding of Asimov’s world. However, I think what they suffer from here is a need to have a different take than the thousand other Star Wars podcasts digging into the Easter Eggs in Boba Fett. To not mention BK, Tosce Station, or the implications of the Pyke syndicate in this world is curious since I know A. Ron knows all about them, but I’d say, like always, they trust us to already know all that and they want to mention some other stuff, which is totally fine.

The 2023 version of the old men that were having a fit during the prequel era. Gripes, nitpicking and overall miserable attitudes. But the funniest part is that one of them actually said that their views represent “90% of the (Star Wars)fan base.”
Almost every episode begins or ends with them saying that they’re just way too cool to watch any Star Wars animated content, then complaining that they don’t understand something, then asking listeners to email them a brief summary of content they refuse to watch themselves.
They are pretty funny, and one of them talks like he’s chewing his tongue, but in a cute way.
I’ll probably keep listening.

I like you guys. Your coverage has made some of my favorite shows better—Stranger Things, Leftovers, the Boys, Westworld etc.
But I’m noticing a trend starting with the last season of GOT. If something does not meet your personal expectations of what you hoped a show would be or how you thought it might turn out, you rip it to shreds. That doesn't make you better critics—it makes you fan commentators who stick their nose up at the content because the creative team didn’t satisfy your every want. You only seem to discuss a show in a neutral or positive light if the show goes in the direction you wanted it to.
If that’s what your shows are going to be—fine. But I liked you better when you took the shows as they came and enjoyed the experience of watching with the rest of us.
