Dr. Britta Bushnell brings such depth, wisdom, and compassion to each conversation she holds and reminds us that birth is not just about babies, but about the transformation of families, identities, and generations. Having apprenticed under Britta and read her book of the same name, I can say firsthand that her teachings are profound and life-changing and this podcast is no different.

I am familiar with Britta’s work and know that absolutely every time I get to be with her or hear from her I pick up deeper insight about life-way beyond just birth. Now we get that - plus the energy that multiplies in hearing her engage with other deep thinkers and knowledgeable guests. Episode 2 had me so so fired up and renews hope for repairing our broken divided healthcare systems. Thank you for that discussion particularly! I will be sharing it broadly with expectant clients I work with and providers as well!

Just like when I was in Britta’s apprenticeship for my doula work, I had to digest this podcast slowly because each episode was so rich, deep and profound. In fact, I am incredibly tempted to listen twice for things I may have missed or just want to hear again — it’s all so valuable.

I just listened to the Bente and Sara episode about collaborative care! So much wisdom and thought provoking conversation through the entire episode. I’m excited for more episodes! I’ll definitely tune in again next week.
