Among all the psych podcasts, this stands out as the top shelf choice. Models how to face and explore the contemporary psyche, complexes, and archetypes. Every week’s theme has had an uncanny connection to my own journey and what US collectives are grappling with. It has changed and deepened my relationship to my experience. Highly recommended!!!

I like the other two hosts a lot and the podcast as a whole but sometimes Joseph’s takes come off to me as misogynistic or just not fully understanding of the female experience. I noticed this particularly in the episode about coming of age rituals for women. The other two hosts will usually call him out on it but something about Joseph rubs me the wrong way. I almost wish there were a space for them to have conversations about the feminine aspects of Jungian psychology without him there.

Just consistently wonderful content. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to an episode and not had several moments of “aha” surprise. Highly recommended!

In style, substance and content, this is the most valuable and transforming podcast to which I’ve ever listened. I just wish I could be friends with the hosts.

I am a longtime listener, dating back to the beginning of the podcast, but am increasingly disappointed by what I observe to be a narrow-mindedness with regard to diversity of experience. I find it disturbing that the hosts take their own paths as a sort of universal a priori, giving rise to frequent instances of elitism, ableism, and worse, transphobia (see some previous comments). Also: the amount of self-advertising during each episode has increased to a level that feels excessive and disingenuous.

I generally like the topics but Marchiano’s hard-line stance that Trans people should not transition seems very arrogant and paternalistic to me. It certainly makes me question her judgment, empathy, and flexibility.
