Love listening to Kevin break things down in a humorous and insightful manner. But woof, the ads are rough. Some episodes feel like more advertising content than actual football talk.

Was skeptical at first because I wasn't sure Kevin Clark knew ball, but then I saw Kevin do a 360 windmill dunk in Peyton Manning's driveway IN JEANS. And I'm talking about real jeans, with the heavy denim that coal miners used to wear. Not these glorified yoga pants that the non-ball-knowers are wearing these days. Once I saw that, I knew once and for all: Kevin Clark knows ball.

Great podcast, just two notes:
1) the intro theme doesn’t fit. the huge bombastic music doesn’t fit the tone of what is essentially a chill nfl pod
2) please stop talking about “making content” with folks. we all know its content but it feels dirty saying it That’s it, stay blessed
4 stars for spreading the lie that NFL referees are good

The 7/25 podcast w/ Gregg Rosenthal encapsulated the worst of this show. Nothing is more annoying than listening to two professional football podcasters lament the annoying takes of fans. Yes, fans are usually annoying. But they are also listening to and commenting on your creative work, the two metrics that justify your jobs. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t get aggravated by terrible fan takes, but you should absolutely not openly complain about it in a “god these people are THE WORST” tone that shows some gross combination of elitism, self-aggrandizement, and apathy towards the ears that feed. Do your commiserating pre-or post-show in private, please and thank you.
