Love listening to these two. Big Al is all over the place just like he is on the radio. As a single girl it is fun to hear how both sides view issues we all face as a single.

I love this podcast! I’ve loved Big Al for years on the radio. I think he has an awesome podcast partner in Zada. They both have such kindness in their character, but also bring a lot of fun and energy to the podcast. Their stories are always interesting and keep me coming back for more! Keep ‘em coming!

I love this podcast. I look forward to each episode. Amy, Zada, and Big Al are the perfect trio. I won’t bash any of the other morning show podcasts, but it is refreshing to listen to this one and not have all the silliness of one of the more high profile ones. Keep up the great job!

I’m a faithful listener of the Kidd Krafdick morning show, and I committed myself to listening to The Third Wheel Podcast, previously known as Let’s be Single Together. I’ve listened to every single episode of this podcast, but after much consideration, I’ve decided not to continue. The only reason I’m leaving a one-star review is because there’s no 0 stars and I genuinely like Zada. She’s incredible and doesn’t deserve to suffer from the unprofessionalism and poor content brought by Big Al and Aimee. It’s frustrating because this podcast has potential, but it’s buried under constant issues that make it unbearable. The only episode I truly enjoyed was the “Epic Guys Retreat” on April 18, 2025, likely because Aimee wasn’t part of it, and the men brought such humor and energy to the conversation.

I want to acknowledge the health challenges Big Al and Aimee have faced. Big Al has shown incredible strength through his prostate cancer, his mother’s health struggles and Aimee’s life-altering illness. Aimee, too, has endured so much, and I’m genuinely glad to know she’s on the road to recovery. They’ve both faced more than their fair share of hardships, and I wish them nothing but health, happiness, and a strong marriage moving forward. They clearly love and care deeply for each other, even if their dynamic on the podcast doesn’t reflect that in the best way.

That said, Big Al’s constant interruptions and inability to manage basic tasks, like the labeled buttons Aimee set up for him, are maddening. Whether it’s intentional or not, it detracts from the experience. Aimee’s habit of correcting him at every turn adds to the tension, and their back-and-forth feels more like unresolved conflict than entertaining banter. It often seems like they use the podcast to air grievances instead of having meaningful discussions.

Zada, however, is a breath of fresh air. Her humor, positivity, and ability to diffuse tense moments make her the heart of this show. She’s the reason I was able to stick around for as long as I did. The way she compares her relationship with Rick to Big Al and Aimee’s is brilliant—it adds levity and a relatable touch. I appreciate her sharing her life stories, experiences, the unfortunate loss of her brother, the funny way of sharing her father’s leg amputation, and the family interaction. Honestly, I’d love to see her and Rick start a podcast together. Even though I’ve never heard Rick, Zada’s descriptions of his dry humor and their dynamic make me think they’d be hilarious and uplifting.

While I’m frustrated with the podcast, and I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT (Aimee’s favorite phrase “absolutely not” when fact checking Big Al) recommend anyone to listen to this nonsense, I want to reiterate my admiration for Big Al’s resilience and Aimee’s determination. They’ve gone through so much, and I hope they continue to grow stronger as a couple. I genuinely wish them health, happiness, and success in their marriage. But for me, this podcast is a No Go, and it’s time to move on. I hope they can find a way to make the show better and show the love and respect they clearly have for one another in a way that resonates with listeners.

I am a long time listener of the KKITM show and really wanted to like Al’s podcast. I’ve given the show a few months but it’s not for me.
Al, I’ve loved getting to know your lovely bride during your podcast. I hope you and Aimee have a strong happy and long marriage. Having said that, I do not believe she is a good fit for the type of podcast you are going for. You set the tone as light and positive and her vibe seems to be more low energy and deep. Totally different mix and it makes for a confusing podcast.
