I’m watching Mad Men for the first time and have found this podcast to be a great guide through the show, especially since there is so much under the surface of each episode. I especially appreciate that they don’t spoil anything for us first-timers!

Someone wrote another review saying that he wants spoilers as there’s no chance there are ‘first timers’ listening to this… WRONG! I am a first timer (some of us do not live in the US and did not get a chance to watch some series when they first aired). Love listening to this every time after I watch an episode.
Great stuff, thanks makes me appreciate the show so much more… until I will rewatch it 😉

Really good Mad Men podcast. Focused and professional. Dan has great takes, but they are his takes. Roberta tries to bring in multiple viewpoints...When Roberta speaks she is bringing in YEARS of a blog she ran and "real people" points and counter points and different angles viewers provided her. If you hear Roberta out, it's worth it. And dont' think for a moment Matt Weiner never thought about feminism or race in the writing of the show - it's a 2007 show, not a 1970 one. Does she occassionally awkwardly step on Dan or get a little too negative? Yes, a little in the beginning episodes and that gets better. It's not to the level of the comments of reviewers here, calm down folks podcasts are opinion, and this is as pro a podcast as it gets for MM.
Now, they have not done the last episode. It started with had some issues with Apple and then life, etc. People - few podcasters do this full time! I previously had said in a review that I wanted Person to Person. now, it's funny, I'm thinikng maybe they should leave Person to Person unfinished.

Mad Men is my all time favorite show. I am finding this podcast on my fourth rewatch.
This is a great podcast, but Roberta made me drop it to three stars…sheesh, your opinion isn’t always the right one. Very condescending and forceful towards Dan’s thoughts way too often.
Also, this is a show based on the 60’s, not today. Stop trying to make it about today’s society. We all know things were more sexist and racist compared to today’s standards. The contrast is part of the show. No need to remind us all the time. Live in the moment of the show.
Dan, you are the rock of this podcast.
I wish the last episode was completed. Maybe someday.
