Like his publication Lapham’s Quarterly, and Harpers (while he ran it), this podcast is a treasure of wisdom peppered with fantastic guests often speaking on a specific topic, and the indispensable Lewis Lapham who has a literary memory the likes of Christopher Hitchens or Tyler Cowen. A single episode is more enlightening than most books.
