The more I learned about scripture, the more I felt the need for additional guidance on both the holy messages and the contexts—culture, history, languages, geography, etc. I am so thankful to have found this podcast, which is a wonderful resource on content and context!

I initially found out about Father Stephen de Young through Lord of Spirits and now have also started listening to this podcast. I love how interesting he makes Bible study and how compassionate and funny and relatable he is. I always learn something new. The episodes are very short and bite-sized compared to LoS but that works great for doing something like a daily Bible study.

I am so grateful to have found this podcast! Father Steven delivers his vast knowledge in such a humble and conversational way. I have learned so much about our Father and the world He created since I began listening a month ago. I’ve been recommending it to everyone!

I absolutely love Father Stephen’s interpretation of the Bible. I have never learned so much until I came across this podcast. Fr. Stephen has helped me deepened my relationship with Jesus! The way he brings the Bible into context makes every gospel clear to understand. The audio when people ask questions is not clear but it really doesn’t matter because the message is clear. I am a huge fan!!
