I have listened to all seven seasons three times over about a year. The fact that this podcast is written by one person and that the team producing it is just two people is insane. The quality of this indie podcast is higher than most studio funded podcasts. The sound design is genius, it’s completely immersive, you feel like you’re there with the characters as the story unfolds. The horror is creative, unique, and genuinely terrifying. Beyond that, this show has some really realistic relationships, and there’s a lot of moral ambiguity that makes the storyline interesting as you try to decide who and what to root for- nothing is as it seems.
Goshawk is my favorite arc so far, it’s AMAZING. I listened in one day and the suspense was so good I was driving with my knuckles clenched hard on the steering wheel, heart in my throat. The voice acting is across the board stellar, and I love how they use international actors and include a lot of foreign language in the show. It adds to the ambiance and also adds a layer of authenticity to the storyline. And this isn’t easy voice acting- these actors have to convince us they’re in a desolate arctic research station fighting for their lives, or dragging themselves half dead down a mountain in Patagonia, or running through bare snow with a broken foot. It’s just so real. The dialogue is incredibly natural to the point where it just feels like listening I. To a conversation, not like it’s scripted. Also, the level of research that went into this and the accuracy of the little details really stands out. This is one of my top five all time favorite podcasts, and I listen to podcasts every single day, so I go through quite a lot. The found footage aspect is also very cool and adds to the atmosphere, and I love how the recording quality is affected based on the decide it was supposedly recorded on. To the creators: you’ve made something really, really special. Thank you for sharing this with the world, it’s a story that deserves to be told and shared and binged and then listened to again and again.

I absolutely adore this show so far. I saw alot of folks giving Peter Lewis grief over his voice acting but I love it! I always get excited when he’s on The Nosleep Podcast! So happy to have found more work of his. This show can be a tad bit slow for me at times but the build up is also great! It does what it’s meant to. I immediately started telling my friends and family about this podcast after binging 2 seasons at work. The horror is just *chef’s kiss*!
I know many people seem to be unhappy with Goshawk but I am still absolutely enthralled with the series. I really enjoy that we’re seeing more into the families and how they’re handling this new problem. I’ve been supporting the show for a while now and will continue to do so. People would’ve complained if they had written another group finding another site and going through the horrors similar to the groups in seasons 1-5. I enjoy the new direction and applaud the team for taking the show somewhere new and different. I am really enjoying season 7 so far. I’m on the edge of my seat!

This podcast got me into listening to more horror podcasts, and it is still the best I’ve heard. The first season of this will hook you until you’re seasons deep in the tales of the tower and dark dice

I started this today. On season 2 now. But, the “Spanish” is really making me not want to keep listening. This is coming from someone that is Mexican and can speak both languages. It feels forced. The accent is way off, it sounds more Italian than Mexico City Spanish. I say that because one of the creators of this podcast was trying to go for that style of Spanish. It’s not even close. I get what they are going for but it really falls short. I like that they are trying to incorporate different languages into it but it just doesn’t flow. I am very interested in the world they are trying to build but the language stuff is just not doing it for me. Every time Rosa “tries” to speak Spanish and then follows it up with English makes me say, why? She can clearly speak great English. I don’t know. I’m going to try and finish it because I am interested in the story and the world but… we’ll see how far I can get.
