I have adored The Weekend since it started, and as devastated as I am to not have them in my ears during my long runs on weekends, I’m thrilled to have them every night: not standard boring punditry. I love Michael’s fire, and Symone is a queen. All three are a great balance: will listen daily!

I am so glad these 3 were moved from the weekend to the weekdays. Only show that I listen to consistently. This has replaced all the other political shows on this network and others for me. Love being able to get the news and laugh a bit.

I suppose the balance of having Michael on with Alicia and Simona is fine. So far, I have not completely hated every single thing he says, because he is not *always* wrong. However, someone has to do something about Michael’s microphone. He has to be told not to move around so much, or they need to change where it’s placed, because the rustling whenever he is talking is very distracting and annoying and frequently makes it hard to hear what is being said.

Ok I listened to The Weekend with this lineup before they moved. The first show was good but Wednesday’s show was a bust for me. giving a platform to Victoria Spartz killed it for me. She didn’t answer the questions posed to her (thank you Simone and Alicia for trying) and blathered on about nothing intelligible. She blamed issues on both Presidents Obama and Biden, whom she called Vice President pointedly and was not called out for that. She praised Trump’s cuts to Medicaid and defended them, went off on Taj Mahals…whatever that was about I don’t know. She said her town hall meeting was filled with paid protesters then lied about it when called out on it. Sigh when you hear a host side with Josh Hawley of all people you’re in the wrong. Please stop giving these republican liars a platform and legitimacy. Thank you Simone and Alicia for pushing back on her and calling this hypocrite out!
