The hosts are great conversationalists and it makes for a very easy listen. I can follow along like I’m sitting right there.

Love listening to Swag and Chicken giving their opinions on one of the best MMOs ever made, yes I’m a fanboy. I love to tank and being able to listen to their views on the state of tanking is refreshing. I might not agree totally with everything they say but that is cool, still love listening to them.

The Warband Podcast might be one of the most exhausting shows I’ve tried to sit through. The host is so busy defending Blizzard at every turn that the episodes feel less like a podcast and more like a desperate fanboy infomercial. Every controversy magically becomes Blizzard’s fault-but-not-really, and listening to that mental gymnastics routine gets old fast.
Then there’s Chicken, the co-host, who sounds like they’ve transcended boredom and reached a new plane of apathy. It’s like someone handed a microphone to a sigh. The sheer “I don’t care” energy radiating through the speakers could power a black hole.
And the worst part? They constantly push their sub-par Patreon like it’s some elite insider experience. It’s basically recycled scraps of the same low-effort content — hardly something anyone should pay for. The hustle would be admirable if the product wasn’t so painfully mediocre.
In short: if you want a podcast that’s biased, low-energy, and obsessed with selling you bonus content that isn’t worth a nickel, Warband is your stop. Everyone else should keep scrolling.
