This is such a needed podcast. A podcast celebrating the numerous physicians who have overcome the odds and are doing great work and contributing to their community, often unnoticed. I can’t wait to see how much inspiration this brings to every physician at every stage of their journey.

The Underdog Physician is truly authentic, humbling and captivating. As a US born physician I knew some of the struggles of my foreign born colleagues but my eyes just got opened to the sheer number of applications and dedication of my fellow physicians to achieve their goals. Wow! You will be able to help so many aspiring candidates as well as educate your fellow physicians on your stories of perseverance. Thank you !

I love this podcast. I think Dr. Desai really does a wonderful job at empowering his listeners by sharing the experiences and stories of the physicians and creatives making a conscious effort to impact medicine in a positive way.
