I’m obsessed with Tara Palmeri’s political podcast. She’s one of the few journalists I actually trust—she’ll call out anyone, no matter their party, and you never feel like there’s some hidden agenda. It’s just smart, fearless reporting from someone who clearly knows the backrooms as well as the headlines. Tara doesn’t do fluff; she digs in, asks the questions you wish more people would ask, and somehow manages to make even the most chaotic political moments feel clear and kind of addictive.
Whether you’re deep in the political weeds or just trying to make sense of it all, she’s the voice you want in your ears.

I have been following Tara’s career for the past decade and I am in complete awe of her grit and talent.

I first met Tara in 2016 when I was an intern and she was a young reporter taking Brussels by storm. Even back then it was instantly obvious that Tara had an IT factor. Since then I have seen her report on the Trump administration as a TV correspondent and a Politico Playbook writer, I have seen her take on Jeffrey Epstein in her podcast and also start over in another news start-up.

If anything this podcast is just another testament to Tara’s fearlessness in pursuit of the story. Her interviews introduce characters with access to power and tell the behind-the-scenes story.

I am personally a big fan of the podcast interview format because it allows for authenticity that sometimes lacks in the legacy media format.

I am a news junkie but so much of it is giving the same information over and over again. Tara Palmeri has broken the mold by having unique guests and providing a very novel point of view. Tara seems to be both a Washington insider and a Washington outsider. I am learning so much on every episode.

Tara Palmeri brings a rare mix of insider access and fearless reporting. Every episode is packed with sharp political insight, great storytelling, and a refreshing dose of honesty. Can’t recommend it enough!
