I was born in CA. I have settled here with my family. I have seen the most beautiful place on Earth become a mess because of bad policies. We need a good governor in CA. I really wanted to like this podcast. Maybe because he is just getting started his formatting is frazzled. So much good ol’boys back slapping. He doesn’t stay on topic. It sounds ADD. Every time they started on a subject they would ramble on about some random story not tied to subject matter. He kept getting off track. I found it frustrating. He says he is ready to take the keys to run California tomorrow. I got none of that. Please tell us how you are going to solve California’s problems. The topic was Hollywood. Why is CA losing the entertainment business? Our we too expensive? Do we have too much regulation? Is insurance too high? Have we created so much minutiae production doesn’t want to use us. Besides asking the feds and taxpayers for more money what can government do to make CA easy to film in. It is ridiculous production companies would rather fly to England with 400 people to shoot than use Hollywood. What are we doing wrong. How can you fix it. Specifics please. Stay on topic! I will try again a couple of shows in. I am hoping for better results.

Wasn’t familiar with Stephen before stumbling upon an ad for this podcast but really enjoyed his conversation with Scott Budnick, in particular. I dig this guy’s politics too… seems sensible. Enjoy the podcast and looking forward to more.
