Sam and Joe are a mainstay for my evenings. They make me laugh, sort of think, and always provide the comfort of a warm blanket. These guys make every day a little better.
I’m a longtime fan of Joe’s and used to listen several years back and then fell off, now I’m listening in reverse order to catch up! I’m back in 2019 now but listening to the new episodes as they come out. It’s so sweet to see how much growth both Sam and Joe have had. I so relate to Joe’s rocky twenties, my thirties are certainly better too. I’m not a gay man, a video game player, a fan of random articles, or most of the things they are into (I do love any Piggy update) but I find this podcast so enjoyable, funny, and comforting 💕 big love to Sam and Joe.
Been listening to The Show since I started college, and now 8 years later I’m finishing my 4th year of medical school and Sam & Joe have been there with me every step of the way! This show has gotten me through lots of difficult times and I look forward to it every week!
This podcast is just such a joy to listen to. I feel like these two strangers are my besties and that’s just what I need from time to time. I enjoy their sense of humor, and really appreciate the atmosphere of inclusion they foster on the show. In a nutshell, Sam and Joe are 2 close friends that kind of just let loose and chat for an hour and bring us, the listers, along for the ride. I am living for it.
I used to love this podcast, I sent in several questions that got answered and I would listen to each episode multiple times to pass the time at work. But over the last year I’ve been unable to continue listening and decided to unsubscribe. Sam and Joe have become so hateful and mean towards straight people, specifically straight white males, who *spoiler alert* aren’t all bad guys. You complain about lack of gay representation in the media, but then when it happens you still complain that it’s not what you wanted. You joke that you’re an “angry gay person” but it’s actually true and it’s not fun to listen to. Also, I understand that Joe hates Katy Perry, I’m not a fan either, but to say that Taylor Swift has nothing going for her now that they’re friends again is just pitting women against women. I hope you guys continue to find success in this show, but I just don’t need this negativity.
