Not limited to the role as a caregiver, but across all roles, ages and backgrounds, they counsel with humor & compassion. I’ve listened & learned ways to deal with each member of a family. Their discussions about burnout, feelings of depression, guilt & isolation are enlightening. C and J are incredibly spot on. I’ve come away from the podcast with some great insights that members of this generation experience (ie. strain, both financially and otherwise). I’ve learned “role strain” and the stress of fulfilling the role of spouse, parent, and child, while managing many other responsibilities. This podcast is an incredible resource for anyone in this generation dealing with feelings of inadequacy, fear, and uncertainty. Each episode offers a new perspective and insight. Fantastic podcast. Extremely informative. Taking care of my elderly parents and raising my kids simultaneously is not for the weak. This podcast is full of helpful advice and great insight on a number of helpful topics that are difficult to navigate as a member of the sandwich generation.
