I’ve listened to Maggie and Ryan for years on their first podcast, and I’ve also relistened and relistened because of the incredible lessons that they’ve shared. Their first podcast went through many iterations, always with a weight loss theme, but carrying an underlying message so much more powerful and mindset-centered. I’ve cried, I’ve been inspired, and I audibly sighed “thank GOD” when Maggie announced she has a new podcast and wouldn’t be leaving this space entirely. The Real Work feels like we’re finally coming home. Maggie is coming home to her authentic self and her passion for holistic coaching, and her day-one listeners are coming home to the powerful truth that we need to shed our attachment to the simple goal of weight loss and instead partner with our mind, body, and spirit to do THE REAL WORK of falling in love with who we are and rebuilding trust with and connection to ourselves. I came to listen since I am such a big fan of Maggie and the Why We Overeat podcast. I wasn’t ready to have such a breakthrough moment by episode 2. I’ve been going through a cancer journey with my husband, who has terminal stage 4 colon cancer and somehow I didn’t associate all those stressors (on top of the usual work and family stress) with an increase in my migraines, brain fog and dysfunctional calming/coping mechanisms like scrolling and eating. I was attributing it to personal failures and flaws. I am renewed in my gratitude for finding you and your message. I see peace is truly possible in spite of the circumstances. Thank you, Maggie and Ryan.

The work Maggie does is truly invaluable. I’m so thankful for this new podcast and the focus on the real work behind it all. Like many of my friends, I’m an overthinker, a people-pleaser, and often juggling anxiety, burnout, and the demands of both work and family.

Through Maggie’s content and being part of her Vibe Club community, I’ve experienced so much growth and peace. I’m learning to actually feel my feelings in a way no other counseling or therapy has ever taught me. Most recently, I’ve been guided to shift my energy from overwhelm to curiosity—a simple change that has completely reshaped how I approach my work and relate to my career.

Maggie has helped so much! No one puts the pieces together like her podcasts. For so many years I have struggled with me weight not realizing it was all related to my internal feelings of stress and unable to find my inner peace and calm.
