Love The Punies! It’s clear that Kobe and team put a lot of thought into each episode - from the announcers to the commercials, even the music. The kids really love this series, and I personally get a kick out of watching their reactions as we listen along.

Such a fun listen that gets your kids thinking and asking questions. Then you hear Kobe’s voice at the end of every episode and it feels like magic. Thank you for creating something so special to help us remember you forever

I’ve been a loyal subscriber to God-Only-Knows how many podcasts for many years now, and only one out of every seven of them could be said to be TRULY “original”.

But in the past six months, I’ve somehow managed to come across an almighty plethora of first-rate, brilliant, original podcasts: many have been around for a long time, but all of them audio PLATINUM.

The most recent one is The Punies: an adorably funny series of short sketches centered around sports and a neighborhood gang of kids, as the New Kid, Pete Dawson, is nicknamed “Puny” during the inaugural episode’s baseball game.

Impossible to dislike, The Punies is a podcast for anyone with fond memories of going out after school to play with the other kids on your street (For me, it was Frisbee, tag football, Freeze Tag, and Kick The Can).

Id put these on in the car for my kids to listen to while we drove, so that they could use their imagination. They fact that it was from Kobe Bryant made it special to them. The fact that they are 7 & 9 and they could imagine themsleves in the characters is great. When Kobe passed they knew exactly who He was and were sad. To hear these podcasts even after his familys tragedy is humbling. Please continue to speak positivity and empoeerment into our children from heros that made a difference. Thank you for continuing his legacy thru the Punnies.
