Thanks for this podcast. It is awesome! The show is fantastic and I love your plan to dig into the details. While I’m guessing most people never want to find themselves in an ED, I would bet that most people, like me, are fascinated by what goes on there! Ultimately, these are stories about people, and I am so glad “The Pitt” and your podcast show the daily heroism of these trauma doctors and nurses and also their struggles and breakdowns. This is a show about humanity doing its best, and this podcast shares that with all of us. Plus, I’m from Pittsburgh! I know all of the outside places, and I worship and volunteer a block from Allegheny General Hospital (PTMC in the show), so I am there all of the time! I love the Pittsburgh references, although the show needs some more “Yinzers” — real Pittsburghers who speak our unique PITTSBURGHESE dialect, n’at! 😀 🖤💛
