The Packfiller: Cycling Culture & Comedy

by Patrick Bulger | Cycling Host & Creator

The cycling podcast for the rest of us. The Packfiller is your weekly escape into the hilarious, opinionated, and unfiltered world of cycling culture. Join host Pat Bulger for a mix of biting satire, deep-dive interviews with pro personalities, and the kind of honest bike talk you only hear on the group ride. We skip the dry race stats to focus on the lifestyle, the gear, and the absurdity of being a cyclist. Like a ride with friends (but one is an a-hole). Topics: Cycling Comedy, Bike Culture, Interviews, Road & Gravel.

What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Patrick and Mark provide a funny, irrerverent and entertaining take on all things cycling - from racing and training to recaps of the goings on in the pro scene. The podcasts move along quickly and feel as if you are there having a beer next to them, listening in on their witty, back-and-forth banter. This refreshing take is a far cry from forcing the listener to suffer though various cycling-product related interviews with a company representative who is there only for the purposes of plugging their product as is the case with some other cycling podcasts. Chapeau to Patrick and Mark for their work in putting this podcast out there.

The problem with podcasts is their price. There is so much garbage out there, but this one is worth subscribing to. I enjoy the banter and the community feel, even though I live in Florida-I can relate. My only criticism, if I have one, is they drop some words only to validate their explicit rating. I appreciate their consistency to recording, their realistic outlook on our community and society, and their professional quality with the spoken word. Enjoy, I will!

Love the show, just found you guys recently and I’m working my way back thru the archives between new episodes. Keep up the good work, tuning in from Snohomish County and former Chelan County resident, can relate to the east vs west banter.

I am now in love with this great podcast. I didn't know cyclists had feelings! Or were human. I jest. This guy is great! Funny, educational, and a great podcast to listen to! 5 stars. Why are you people reading this, go listen!!
