This a great podcast for captivating true crime stories that aren’t getting enough public attention. Lauren is committed to getting justice and does it in a respectful way to all that are involved. In top of true crime, Lauren also keeps me up to date on the latest entertainment and is always making me smile. Her infectious laugh and chemistry with her guests always makes for a good interview. My favorite interviews are with the child actors from past Nickelodeon shows or classic, hilarious Disney movies, like heavyweights. I’d love to see more guests like that!

My biggest issue is that I noticed errors in all of the episodes I listened to. For instance, the host stated that police were called to O.J. Simpson’s home twice (it was actually nine times). I was annoyed, but kept going, hoping it was a simple oversight and wouldn’t happen again. It did, over and over, often enough that I wouldn’t be able to accept anything reported here as fact. Lauren delivers salacious Nancy Grace style coverage, seemingly relying on online commentary to form opinions on cases that have not yet gone to trial. Frankly, I was a little relieved that she didn’t speak about Simpson as if HE were somehow the victim. If you’re into podcasts that cite Fox News as a credible source, victim-blaming and unsolicited commentary on women’s bodies, this is the podcast for you!
