I love this! I am not in the fashion or beauty industry in any way, shape, or form, but I find it interesting and I love pop culture. Alyssa is a great host. She asks smart questions and seems really legit, but also sweet and likable. She strikes a nice balance between personal stories and analysis. Excellent rapport with guests, it’s like they are all her friends (maybe they are!). This is becoming a comfort listen for me.

I’ve followed Alyssa forever and I’m a big fan - so I was excited to dive into this podcast. I’ve really enjoyed the guests so far but I wish she would share more about HER journey and personal anecdotes when talking to and relating to guests - she’s had a great career. I find the most compelling parts about industry scoops and stories from behind the scenes, rather than the advice. The guests seem to be either her friends and super informal or industry people she has a structured discussion with. I’m excited to see how the podcast flow and interview format evolve. I’m not sure if it’s her “podcast voice” or just the audio, but I have to listen to the episodes at full volume to clearly hear them - sometimes her guests sound louder but I think it’s an audio issue. Overall a big fan and looking forward to more!
