The Network State Podcast - Podcast Rankings and reviews

Balaji is one of the smartest people alive and it’s always a pleasure to hear him talk (even if I don’t understand half of it, like when he spoke to Vitalik). I hope he will (1) talk to guests that disagree with him on major topics, (2) start deep dives into topics (for example, what does he think about cryonics?), and (3) talk to people who are starting or want to start their own network states.

Most podcasts are fluff. Not this one. I find myself constantly rewinding to listen. Just want more episodes.

Balaji’s new book The Network State is getting talked about in all of the circles I follow - Bitcoin, Web 3, Tech, VC, etc. It’s this idea that you can start a country beginning with forming a community on the internet, then an economy, and eventually buying land and getting recognized as a sovereign nation. It’s unquestionably a wild and ambitious idea that almost creates more questions than it answers - hence the need for this podcast! Finally he’s going to talk with some of the smartest people in tech, crypto, politics etc to put more meat on the bones of how this network state is actually going to happen.

Really like Balaji’s opinions. Everything he has to say is from first principles and he’s a true polymath. Thanks for putting out this stuff, I’ve learned a lot from your podcasts :)
