Carrie has supported the men and women of the military, and specifically the Massachusetts National Guard for years. She visited my unit in both Iraq and again in Afghanistan. She has personally laid it on the line for us and now it’s time to support her. Her brutal honesty and genuineness is infectious. Another 5 🌟 podcast listening event produced and hosted by the one and only Mistress Carrie!! Outstanding guest this episode, 1SGT Jonathan Hill (ret) US Army!! This podcast was AMAZING and so real!! Yes, it was all about a real life 12 hour battle that took place in Afghanistan, that was the most decorated battle of the war. It was made into a book and now a new movie coming out on Friday, July 3rd, “The Outpost” both written by Jake Tapper. Listening to 1SGT Hill’s first hand account and knowing his feelings almost 11 years later were still so raw and intense was get-you-in-the-gut palpable!! His feelings of loss for his lost brothers in arms was heart wrenching!! This episode is a can’t miss!!

Is there actual music? No, but she makes up for it with a matching Spotify playlist that corresponds with the episode guest and topics during the interview. Where is it better? Because there is no corporate overhead, what you hear is 100% MC’s flavor and style. She has an uncanny ability to navigate an interview that feels more like a natural conversation between buddies sharing a cocktail. Plus, we finally get to hear one of her best skills we never got to hear on WAAF- she says f*ck like a champ. Long live the blueberry cobbler!
