I found this show by listening to XPN, which broadcasts out of Philadelphia. I love the eclectic nature of the music, of never knowing what I’m going to hear next— it’s thrilling, haha! This show has introduced me to so many wonderful, “lost” songs — and I can’t help but think what a shame that so much beautiful music isn’t playing on mainstream stations. But… thanks to this podcast, more people do have the opportunity to enjoy— so thank you!

I’ve learned about obscure works by bands that are old favorites as well as bands and musicians I’ve never heard of. Ben Vaughn is great at introducing music that you didn’t know you’d fall in love with.

The selections always surprise and entertain. And I dare say educate and expand my appreciation of music I wouldn’t otherwise be exposed to.
