This WW2 story is easy to follow. Narrated by Suzanne Rico, her personal family history has been lovingly woven together with historical records, family members and relatives of troops utilizing her journalistic background, recordings, sound effects and music. It’s fascinating and edge-of-your-seat thrilling. Brilliantly produced and presented.

Drawn from amazingly deep documentary research and the stories shared by her relatives, Suzanne Rico’s investigation of her family’s WWII history paints a compelling and human portrait of the grandfather she never knew. At the same time, this story fearlessly follows the dark pathways that lead to the horrors caused by Robert Lussor’s death machines, from civilian deaths in England to sick, starving, enslaved Jews toiling deep underground. That makes it courageous, as well as beautiful.
