Jake and Jon were “in the room” only ten short months ago, and listening to them dissecting current foreign affairs challenges is a bit different than listening to analysts three or four times removed. Insightful, engaging, and somehow simultaneously serious and entertaining. You will be smarter and better informed after listening to The Long Game.

As a senior military officer who has served overseas for 6 of the last 7 years (currently onverseas), I am a geopolitical podcast junkie. The long game hits the spot. I enjoy the depth of analysis and the delivery immensely. Cannot recommend enough!

Although interested in this podcast, I put off listening to it because I thought it would be…well…staid. I was wrong! It is intriguing, fairly nonpartisan, and timely. The format is good and the views expressed are respectful. The world really is much more complicated than I understand

Seriously getting the chance to listen to such analysis every week? Like the best of The West Wing but even better sourced and thought-out. Will definitely listen every chance I get.
