I have been listening to Bald Move for many years, originally coming upon them for Game of Thrones, I now seek out shows based on what they watch. Regarding TLOU I am not a game player but am able to enjoy each episode and then feel like I am watching it again with great commentary and context. If you are looking for sunshine and rainbows, this is not your podcast, but if you are looking for realistic and well thought out theories and reviews with some laughs, give them a listen. They truly enhance my enjoyment of each show that I watch with them!

What I love about these guys is that they understand that you can love a thing, but not like everything about it. So much of fandom nowadays is toxic. You can’t criticize or point out flaws (even if the creators actually say they could have done better). I’d always prefer an honest critique as opposed to someone trying to convince me something is good when it’s not.
Thank you for always bringing honest feedback, even when I disagree with the assessment. Your reviews are much more interesting than a ra-ra gaslight session that so
Many nowadays look for. How are people supposed to get better without honesty?

I came across Bald Move while searching for a Rings of Power podcast and now one of the top podcast I follow. If they are watching … then I am going to watch at this point. I wouldn’t of watched Andor if they didn’t and so glad I did. Keep up the great coverage.

These two hosts are funny and really informative in their analysis. I’m not a game player at all and I love how they help explain things that are more explained I guess in the game then the show like the “bloaters”.

I understand everyone has different takes, but as someone who has experienced trauma and family dying in a tragic accident and waking up in the hospital being told their loved ones died, I can assure you it’s not “over the top”to wake up screaming. I still wake up with that feeling of immense loss- to the point this part of the show was hard to watch because it was like a Time Machine to that horrible moment of realizing you aren’t asleep and this unimaginable thing happened to you is real, and trying to get air because you can’t comprehend the depth of loss. People have different opinions but the know it all attitude is bothersome throughout the podcast. As someone who has played hundreds of hours of the games it has been hard finding a decent podcast to listen to with recaps that aren’t male centric or “ I would have done it this way” -tends to be another set of men gamers with their takes that are half baked and miss the mark.
