2 episodes in a row, & the guests got “bleeped” for their frank potty mouths. So funny! I feel a voyeuristic thrill to get to listen to this, since it’s light-years above my head. P.s. If anyone’s looking for another engrossing show, “Causality” analyzes engineering disasters.
Steve Strogatz delivers maths epiphanies in a comprehensible and engaging manner. Especially if your maths skills aren’t as sharp as you would like, Steve stops to explain what the concepts mean and why they matter.
I have really enjoyed all the episodes of this podcast. The joy it provides for a mathematician is beyond words that I can express. I tune it while I am running and at the end of it, I always learn something. My favorite episode was the one about anesthesia.
Each episode is so informative and attractive. I listen to it while cooking, running, relaxing. Steven Strogatz is amazing, he simplify hard topics and discussion of his guests. Thank you sooo much
Quite possibly the most annoying, constantly-interjecting host in all of podcast-dom. The guy doesn’t go 10 seconds without interjecting something over his guest. Absolutely ruined the episode with the Nobel prize winning physicist on the strong nuclear force, a fascinating area but made unlistenable here.
