I appreciate how simple you keep it. It’s an easy podcast to listen to to keep you motivated and dip your toes in the stock market. It’s also possible to dive much deeper with some of the keynotes that you both bring into the podcast! Thanks for all you do!

Back in 2017, I decided to learn about investing. I had no idea where to begin or how to make sense of the complicated stock market news. A quick Google search led me to Andrew and Dave’s Investing for Beginner’s PDF and podcast. This decision not only changed the trajectory of my financial journey, but also greatly increased my investing confidence.

Dave and Andrew provide so much valuable and accessible information. I highly recommend this podcast. From the company examples, to the guest speakers, to the 500+ episodes, they help others understand investing and share their passions with the world.

It’s not too late to start 10/14/2023
Began listening to Dave and Andrew’s podcast and immediately like the show. Went to the first episode and listened to about 4 a day until I got caught up. I turned 3 hrs of commute time into investing in my knowledge. At 62 the more I listened to them, the angrier I got at my 30 yr old self for not investing then. I defense though investing was not nearly as easy as it is now and I don’t believe partial shares were available then. I could have very easily thought that it was too late for me to do much about retiring with any kind of nest egg. I came to the conclusion that at least I can get my younger coworkers, my young family member, and anyone who would listen to start investing. One benefit to believing that it’s never too late is that if a land fall of money comes your way you will have the knowledge of what to do with it. I have and thanks to Dave and Andrew’s podcast I am much better off with retirement coming soon, so thank you two for working to educate the masses.

I truly appreciate this show. It adds a lot of value to a beginner investor. One suggestion I would say is to improve how to play ads during a podcast. I understand ads is the revenue and support it. But the Segway for playing ads should be define and handled gracefully rather than interrupting the speaker in the middle of an important topic. Recent show where the speaker was talking about long term investment was interrupted abruptly with these ads. So please make that change and it will truly become a pleasure for the listeners to enjoy the show.. thank you for all you do..

This show does aim to discuss topics that would be relevant to less experienced investors, but falls short in the execution. All the information is very surface level, and never delves into details that would be necessary to help someone take action. My guess is this is done to sell their seminars and workshops, which is the case with most podcasts these days.

As others mentioned, there are lots of ads. A typical 45 minutes episode has almost 15 minutes of advertisements.

Pretty much all the information here is from books, so I would recommend reading the books of Graham, Buffet, Lynch, etc. as their information is primarily what these books outline but without the full details. After you listen to 4 or 5 episodes you notice the same things repeating. They allude to the same books, same advice, etc.

Perhaps their seminars/workshops are good, but this podcast is not. My guess is you are better off spending $50-$60 on Amazon for a few classic investing books rather than gambling on what this show is selling. The titles sound great, but it is all bark and no bite.

Gzzzzz I wanted to listen on the small amount of time I have but wow the insanely long sponsor messages are just ridiculous. I know you need sponsors but 2 minutes+ of this no thanks I’ll look elsewhere
