The Hustle - Podcast Rankings and reviews

I am indeed late to the podcast party, but for some reason 'The Hustle' was the one that got on my radar and I haven't turned back since. I've been in the music industry for over 30 years and know a thing or two about many of the guests Jon brings onto the show...but the beautiful thing is that he pulls A LOT more out of them. He's a huge music fan that gets to talk to some of the biggest names in the industry...which puts us the listeners in his shoes. Asking many questions some of us have always been curious about. It's a fun and inspiring show and producer Jan does an excellent job behind the scenes editing as well. If I ever start up a podcast myself, I'll have no hesitation in saying this is the show, host and team that inspired it. Look forward to more great episodes to come! Jake / Minneapolis

This is a podcast for music geeks like me who read the fine print - who read all the credits from every album they buy (in whichever format). If background information on producers, engineers, songwriters, session musicians, as well as the artists themselves is of interest to you, then this is your podcast!

Jon is very thorough and does his homework where his guests are concerned. He has a very relaxed demeanor with his guests which gets them to relax and open up with their responses. His list of guests keeps getting more impressive, esepcially some of the nearly-forgotten artists he brings in. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this. This podcast is must-listen material for my drive to work and especially for long-distance drives.

Jon Lamoreax asks the burning questions most other journalists and podcasters are too afraid - and/or uninformed - to ask. With a wonderful bias toward obscure 80s musical artists and producers, The Hustle delivers in entertaining, surprising, and unique ways. Thanks for delivering a consistently great pod.

Jon is livin the dream here and we get to listen along! Imagine if you got to interview your music idols—impress them with your knowledge of deep cuts and ask them personal questions about $, fame and relationships. Sounds super fun to me.
