Y’all are so helpful for my quest for legal help for my never-ending court case. I love how you focus on one topic and simply it. I can rely on your podcasts to find information that is applicable to me and you point me in the right direction as to where to find the answers that apply to my state. I would love a podcast about options to appeal a temporary order before trial.

Thank you so much for all the work the two of you do for Georgia judges. Your New Judges training was invaluable and these podcast are perfect for long drives from courthouse to courthouse.

Judge Padgett and Kell spoke to my family law class this semester and their podcast was an amazing supplement to my course material!

If you’re a stay at home mom/dad in Columbia County(and many are), do so at your own risk. Judge Padgett does NOT favor this type of marriage and instead will favor the income generating spouse. My ex husband and I were married for ten years and he made close to 200k a year. He cheated and lied, to me, and while on the stand. However, my total alimony award was 6k to be made in $200 monthly installments. I’d also like to add that we were dirt poor when we got married. Sacrifices were made on both ends to advance him in his career. We built this life together. Until I could find a job, I was literally living off Ritz crackers and random pantry items. No one could believe he didn’t have to pay more, especially after what he put me through. I needed, at the least, temporary support to help with utilities, groceries and gas until I could get a job and get regular paychecks. I hadn’t worked in years and no one was calling me for interviews. It was very stressful. All I’m saying is just because Judge Padgett can regurgitate some law text, doesn’t change the fact that his OPINION is what settles cases and his opinion doesn’t sync with the demographic or the values of Columbia County.
