The Gatekeepers Podcast - Podcast Rankings and reviews

I haven’t listened to this show from the beginning but I have listened for a while. I noticed in the most recent episode that the sound quality was better (mic volumes were more even) and way less instances of hosts talking over each other. Those were the only real issues I had with the show when I first started listening. I love heading to this show once I’m caught up with BTG episodes from the week. I often end up laughing alongside this crew and it’s fun that they don’t all agree on everything. This is a real treat. I’m not plugged in to all of the press and social media around the show so I get a lot of those updates here. I’ve already shared it with my mom who is a BTG fan as well. I wouldn’t mind if they did mini-episodes during the weeks when the show was on a break, that’s how much I enjoy it. Great job Gatekeepers!

I dove into streaming Beyond the Gates on Paramount+Showtime almost a month after the first episode aired (from the start) and quickly sought a podcast that would show love for all things Beyond the Gates.

The Gatekeepers is it!

Everyone has their own fabulous personalities with wit, sass, and great soap knowledge. Even though I started BtG late, I also started at Ep1 with Gatekeepers. Hearing all the early show info while having watched roughly the first 10 eps was quite interesting knowing that most of the characters names were changed, and for the best! I binged the podcast and finally caught up to the current week episode. I’m now suffering from withdrawal!

I’m a thousand percent addicted, now looking forward to each delicious new episode of The Gatekeepers!

I’ve been following this podcast from day 1 before the show even aired and fell in love with the personalities discussing the show. It’s fun to hear them chat as fans of the show and guess what they think will happen next and speculate while discussing the episodes of the week. It’s now a part of my Sunday morning routine to listen as soon as it’s uploaded. Please don’t stop and keep them coming, I enjoy listening.

This is my 2nd review. I look forward to a lot of the hosts’ insight of the podcast every week. The issue I have is that it feels like some of the baggage of two of the hosts from watching other soaps has rubbed off on the enjoyment of Beyond the Gates. It sometimes sounds like they don’t think the show is good and could deter others from watching it. This is a platform and not Social media so I believe the hosts should consider that when how they critique this historic new daytime drama. This is just some constructive criticism.
