It brings me so much thought provoking content related to the world of golf course architecture and the growing interests of construction, agronomy, psychology, and landscape. They bring a tasteful nerdy-ness and walk it through to enlighten and excite your average to scratch golfer. They speak with the most influential people in the business and highly recommend any Yolk with Doak. Enjoy!

Hands down, best show I’ve listened to. How C. B. Macdonald “found” Seth Raynor and the mutual respect these polar opposites developed, was a story within the story. Garrett’s insightful questioning is revealed again, when he asks the author a question he hadn’t considered in the five years spent researching and writing the NGLA history. Keep the great questions and content coming.

Andy and team are as good as it gets for the informed golf lovers out there. Humorous, smart, and witty. Garrett has taken the lead lately and he is wonderful at what brings to the pod. No filler or bros here - this is the best of new golf media.

1. Timely topics discussed…for example, recent podcast ranking each hole at Augusta was a great way to get ready for the Masters. Consistently good golf course design topics I love the most.
2. Great interviews - example, great interview with David Cannon on golf photography, learned a lot, like how photography is more difficult today since players wear hats vs 40 years ago.
3. In and Out segment within podcast is a great way to keep up to date on current golf (and sometimes non golf) topics.
